Josie Young was born in Tasmania, Australia and travelled to Kenya in 2007 where she met Kizito Shisanya Nahol a Kenyan national. Together they started the Mutaho Children’s Foundation in 2007 and were married in 2008.

Tom & Elizabeth Young both Tasmanians support the MCF and its members providing the time and facilities required to minimize administration costs to MCF manning the MCF Office in Tasmania & filling the role of Treasurer. |
| Shannon Goebel from the Gold Coast of Australia, has been a part of the Mutaho Children’s Foundation right from the start. Shannon was a volunteer in Kenya with Josie in 2007. Shannon worked in the Kakamega Provincial Hospital and provided assistance at the local medical clinic. In addition to her work in the hospital & clinic Shannon helped put together a HIV/AIDS awareness program and conducted home visits to provide medical check-ups for local children. | ![]() |
Duncan Young has established the MCF website, and provides IT advice to MCF. Duncan and his wife Bel travelled to Kenya in 2004 and hope to one day return.
